(CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky.) — A Murray man was arrested late Tuesday night after deputies discovered illegal drugs in his possession while serving an outstanding warrant, the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Deputies made contact with Mason Cody Jonathan, 41, at a residence on Higgason Lane at approximately 11:30 p.m. on May 6, 2026. While taking Jonathan into custody on an existing Calloway County warrant for non-payment of court costs and fees, deputies discovered he was in possession of illegal substances.
Jonathan was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) first-degree, first offense — a Class D felony — along with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported and lodged at the Calloway County Detention Facility.
