(MURRAY, Ky.)-FNB Bank of Mayfield has established the FNB Bank Fund for Excellence to support Murray State University’s Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business, continuing a long-standing partnership between the regional bank and the university.
The fund will direct resources toward scholarships, faculty instruction, and program development within the AACSB-accredited college, which serves undergraduate and graduate students across six departments.
“By investing these funds into enhancing instruction, expanding scholarships, and strengthening programs within the College of Business, we’re supporting the development of future business leaders,” said FNB Bank CEO Paul Scott.
Founded in 1875, FNB has operated as a locally owned community bank serving the Jackson Purchase region for nearly 150 years.
Dean Heath Keller said the investment would help prepare students for real-world business challenges. “It is leaders like FNB Bank who provide valuable support both in and out of the classroom,” he said.
