(PADUCAH, Ky.) — A suspect wanted in connection with a robbery and vehicle theft in Calvert City was taken into custody Saturday evening following a coordinated, multi-agency effort that utilized real-time camera tracking technology to locate the stolen vehicle.

The Calvert City Police Department issued a Be On the Look Out (BOLO) alert to surrounding agencies at approximately 6:30 p.m. on March 14th after the robbery and vehicle theft occurred. Officers with the Paducah Police Department and dispatchers at Paducah-McCracken 911 immediately began monitoring the FLOCK camera system, successfully tracking the stolen vehicle in real time as it moved through Paducah.

That information was quickly passed to deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, who intercepted the vehicle and conducted a felony traffic stop on Blandville Road near Hines Road. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. Residents in the area may have observed a temporary road closure and a significant police presence at that location during the arrest.

The Paducah Police Department and Kentucky State Police assisted deputies during the traffic stop.

The suspect has been identified as Dagan Clark, 20, of Philadelphia, Mississippi. Clark now faces multiple felony charges in both McCracken County and Marshall County stemming from the incident and is currently lodged at the McCracken County Jail.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office is coordinating the ongoing investigation with the Calvert City Police Department.
