Murray Man Arrested Following Months-Long Narcotics Investigation

(Calloway County, Ky.)-A Murray man was arrested Thursday afternoon after a traffic stop brought a months-long narcotics investigation to a close.

Detectives with the Calloway County Narcotics Division, assisted by investigators from the Marshall County Narcotics Division, pulled over a vehicle driven by Michael M. Foster, 51, of Murray at approximately 1:00 p.m. on March 13.

Foster had been under scrutiny as part of multiple ongoing narcotics investigations spanning from October 2025 through March 2026, during which he is believed to have served as a source of cocaine supply within Calloway County. Over the course of the investigation, detectives seized approximately 12.95 gross grams of suspected cocaine.

Following his arrest, Foster was lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center. He faces a charge of Trafficking a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 2nd or greater offense, involving 4 or more grams of cocaine — a Class B felony.
