(MURRAY, Ky.) — A Murray man was arrested early Wednesday morning after deputies discovered he was driving a stolen vehicle during a routine traffic stop.
At approximately 6:00 a.m. on March 5, 2026, Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle on South 12th Street in Murray. The driver, Aaron R. Wilkinson, 52, of Murray, was found to be operating a vehicle that had been reported stolen.
The vehicle had been taken from an Enterprise Rental Car location in Mayfield following a burglary. The investigation into the original theft is being handled in coordination with the Mayfield Police Department.
Wilkinson was taken into custody and booked at the Calloway County Detention Center. He faces the following charges:
- Receiving Stolen Property valued at $10,000 or more (Class C felony)
- Operating on a Suspended License
- Receiving Stolen Property
