(CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky.) — A Tennessee man was taken into custody late Sunday night on charges stemming from a high-speed pursuit that crossed state lines nearly four years ago, the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office announced.

Michael McBee, 47, of Buchanan, Tenn., was arrested on March 1, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m. on an outstanding Calloway County warrant connected to an August 2022 incident.

According to authorities, deputies originally attempted to locate McBee in August 2022 in connection with outstanding arrest warrants from Henry County, Tennessee. McBee allegedly fled in a vehicle, leading deputies on a pursuit that crossed state lines before continuing onto a gravel roadway. Officers terminated the chase due to unsafe driving conditions, and an arrest warrant was subsequently issued.

McBee now faces a first-degree fleeing or evading police charge involving a motor vehicle — a Class C felony — along with reckless driving and various traffic violations.

He is currently lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center.

The Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone who witnesses unusual or suspected criminal activity to call 270-753-3151 or email ccso.office@callkyso.com.
