
(Calvert City, Ky.) (March 02, 2026) – On February 17, 2026 an officer received a call from CCMA in reference to stolen property. Video footage was reviewed and an investigation began. On February 19, 2026 Tyler Ray Redd, 36, of Kuttawa was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking $1,000 < $10,000.
On February 27, 2026 while investigating a traffic stop officers could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and items were found. Christa Plumlee, 34, of Princeton was charged with two counts of possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
On February 27, 2026 an officer observed a vehicle traveling on East 5th Avenue that had an expired tag from 2024. The officer conducted a traffic stop. After further investigation, Ricky W. Lewis, 49, of Calvert City was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol 2nd offense, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, driving on a DUI suspended license 1st offense, failure to produce insurance card, failure of owner to maintain required insurance 1st offense, no registration receipt, and no registration plates.
On February 28, 2026 an officer was patrolling the parking area for Marshall Yards. As he was headed back to US 62 a vehicle got in front of him. The officer observed several traffic violations and initiated a traffic stop. After further investigation, Terri L. Kimbro, 62, of Eddyville was arrested and charged with improper turning, disregarding a traffic control device – traffic light, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of substances 1st offense, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
