Marjorene Pace, 99, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Calvert City Convalescent Center with her family by her side.
She was born on Tuesday, May 18, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Lex Groves and the late Amy (Edwards) Groves.
Marjorene was a lifelong member of Walnut Grove church of Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Swift; husband Terry of Gilbertsville; grandchildren, Trisha Whybark (husband, Jared) and Matt Swift (wife, Whitley); great-grandchildren, Koral Whybark, Kasen Whybark and Rowan Swift; sister-in-law, Shirley Groves; nieces, Shara Hamilton and Shana Wood; nephew, Lyndall Groves.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Meredith Pace; son, Ricky Pace; brother, Louie Groves; sister, Dianna McDougal; and nephew, Leslie Groves
A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Collier Funeral Home with Danny Davis and Lyndall Groves officiating. Interment will follow at Edwards Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
