(McCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky.) — The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help after deputies responded to multiple reports of vehicle damage in the Reidland Community Tuesday morning.
Deputies were called to several residences in the area on the morning of Feb. 17, 2026, following reports of damaged vehicles. Detectives have since launched an active investigation into the incidents.
Anyone with information that could help identify those responsible is urged to contact the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators are also taking the opportunity to remind residents to take steps to protect their property. Officials recommend checking that home surveillance cameras are operational and properly positioned, verifying that exterior security lighting is in working order, and avoiding leaving valuables inside parked vehicles.
“Community awareness and proactive safety measures can make a significant difference,” the Sheriff’s Office said. Residents who notice suspicious activity are encouraged to report it promptly.
