
(BENTON, Ky.) — The Marshall County Fiscal Court will convene Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. to address a full agenda including jail operations, financial settlements, and infrastructure projects.
Jailer Roger Ford is scheduled to present on jail policies and procedures, while County Clerk Crissy Greer will deliver her settlement report for 2025. The court will also review January personnel changes and approve minutes from the January 30th special called meeting.
Major Action Items
The fiscal court will consider several significant business matters, including:
- A resolution designating an applicant agent
- The Sheriff’s settlement for 2025
- A contract for inspection services related to a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
- A statement of affiliation with the Marshall County Rescue Squad
- A renovation proposal for the Property Valuation Administrator (PVA) office
Bids and Financial Matters
Court members will review bids for county mowing services and HVAC replacement at the Judicial Building. The agenda also includes consideration of training incentives for employees Greer, Collins, and Barrett.
