(BENTON, Ky.) — The Marshall County Lady Marshals and Marshals basketball programs received a financial boost this week when WCBL Sports presented checks to both teams.
The funds stem from advertising sales generated by the Marshall County Basketball Poster Schedules, a project WCBL has supported annually since 2011. The poster schedules, which feature the team’s yearly game schedule, have become a reliable source of revenue for the programs through local ad sales. Waters said, “We appreciate the advertisers of this poster schedule for their continued commitment to Marshall County athletics broadcasts on WCBL.”
The tradition of producing and selling the schedules has now spanned over a decade, reflecting an ongoing commitment by WCBL Sports to support local high school athletics in Marshall County.
