(CALVERT CITY, Ky.) — A routine patrol check led to the arrest of a Mayfield man on an outstanding warrant last month, according to local authorities.
On January 26, officers conducting patrol in Calvert City noticed a vehicle improperly parked in the Marshall Yards parking lot. When officers made contact with the vehicle’s owner, a warrant check revealed he was wanted in McCracken County.
Richard Dwight Heard, 43, of Mayfield, was taken into custody on a McCracken County warrant for failure to appear in court.
No additional charges related to the initial parking violation were immediately reported.
