(MAYFIELD, Ky.) — FNB Bank announced Monday it has donated $1,500 to Marshall County Schools through its Spirit Debit Card Program, marking the latest contribution in the bank’s ongoing effort to support local education.
The donation represents funds accumulated during the fourth quarter of 2025 through the program, which allows customers to automatically contribute to area schools simply by using their FNB Spirit Debit Card for purchases.
“We are proud to offer our exclusive FNB Spirit Debit Card Program to our local schools,” said Brooke Wiles, FNB’s Chief Marketing Officer. “Our customers have pride in knowing that they are making a difference in the lives of our youth by simply swiping their Spirit Debit Cards at the checkout.”
The program works by donating 10 cents to the designated school for each signature-based transaction made with a Spirit Card. FNB handles all tracking and sends quarterly checks directly to participating schools, which can use the funds at their discretion.
Spirit Debit Cards are currently available for Mayfield, Graves County, Trigg County, and Marshall County Schools. The cards function like traditional debit cards, with donations triggered when customers sign for purchases rather than entering a PIN.
In 2025, FNB donated more than $85,000 to participating schools through the program.
Founded in 1875, FNB Bank is one of Kentucky’s oldest banks with assets exceeding $740 million. The bank has earned three consecutive “Outstanding” ratings for the Community Reinvestment Act from the FDIC and was named a “Best Places to Work in Kentucky” award winner in the small business category from 2021 to 2024.
FNB operates 10 locations across Graves, McCracken, Calloway, Trigg, and Marshall counties. For more information about the Spirit Debit Card Program, visit www.GrowWithFNB.com or contact a local FNB office.
