Ronnie D. “Dee Boy” Foley, 71, of Grand Rivers, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, at his place of residence in Livingston County.
Ronnie was born to the late W.E. and Laura Elizabeth Walker Foley on February 12, 1954, in Marshall County, Kentucky. He was a graduate of Livingston Central High School. Upon graduation, he became a laborer and retired from the Laborers’ Union Local 1214. Ronnie enjoyed a simple life and spent his time outdoors working cows on his farm with his best friend and companion, his dog, Wink. He was a member of Lake City Baptist Church.
Ronnie is survived by, one daughter, Ronda Herrington (Ben) of Smithland, Kentucky; one son Matthew Foley (Christy) of Grand Rivers, Kentucky; two sisters, Patricia Marshall (Harold Wayne) and Keeta Calhoun, both of Grand Rivers; seven grandchildren, Jessee Taylor, Sierra Foley, Brittany Hicks, Mason Smith, Gracie Duncan, Madi Herrington, and Tyler Herrington; two great-granchildren, Aleyah Taylor and Lucas Taylor.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Willis E. Foley; and his parents, W.E. and Laura Elizabeth Walker Foley.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Dixon Cemetery in Grand Rivers. Bro. Gary Knuckles officiating.
