(SYMSONIA, Ky.) – A Marshall County man wanted on multiple warrants was arrested Tuesday afternoon following a traffic stop in Graves County, according to authorities.

Jason C. Henson, 46, was taken into custody around 3 p.m. on Kentucky Highway 348 near the Highway 1949 intersection after Graves County Sheriff Jon Hayden received a tip that the fugitive would be traveling through the Symsonia area.

Henson was wanted on warrants from both Livingston and Marshall counties, including charges of first-degree stalking, emergency protective order violations, and harassing communications.

According to the sheriff’s office, Henson was forcibly removed from his vehicle after repeatedly refusing to comply with commands. During the arrest, deputies discovered crystal methamphetamine on his person and determined his Kentucky driver’s license was suspended.

Henson now faces additional charges in Graves County, including third or subsequent offense possession of methamphetamine and driving on a suspended license.

Court records show Henson has two prior convictions for methamphetamine possession and three previous convictions for violating emergency protective orders, menacing, and assault.

Following his arrest, Henson was transported to the Graves County Restrictive Custody Center before being transferred to an out-of-county detention facility.
