Mayfield Man Indicted on Drug Trafficking Charges While Incarcerated

(CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky.) — A Mayfield man faces multiple felony charges following an indictment handed down by the Calloway County Grand Jury in December.

Keon K. Boyd, 27, of Mayfield, was formally charged on January 6, 2026, while already in custody. According to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office, Boyd was indicted on two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree, first offense, involving more than two grams of methamphetamine—a Class C felony. He also faces two counts of persistent felony offender.

The charges stem from the December grand jury proceedings, though details surrounding the circumstances of the alleged offenses were not released.
