(CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky.) – A 58-year-old New Concord man was taken into custody Saturday evening on multiple drug trafficking charges and weapons violations, marking his fifteenth arrest in Calloway County since 2021, according to Sheriff Nicky Knight.
Paul E. Jackson was arrested at approximately 9:00 p.m. on December 28, 2025, when Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies made contact with him at a residence on Boehm Drive to serve multiple active indictment warrants.
During the encounter, deputies discovered Jackson in possession of a firearm. Further investigation revealed that Jackson has prior felony convictions, which legally prohibit him from possessing firearms under state and federal law. He now faces an additional charge of Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm, a Class D felony.
At the time of his arrest, Jackson was already out on bond for several pending cases in Calloway County.
The served indictment warrants include two separate cases charging Jackson with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense—one involving at least 2 grams of methamphetamine and another involving at least 4 grams of cocaine, both Class C felonies. Additional charges from the indictments include possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Jackson was also out on bond from a December 19, 2025, case involving methamphetamine trafficking charges, as well as a May 27, 2025, case that included receiving stolen property valued between $1,000 and $10,000 and fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle—both Class D felonies.
