(MAYFIELD, Ky.) — The Marshall County Lady Marshals delivered a commanding performance Thursday night, defeating the Mayfield Lady Cardinals 59-28 at the Mayfield Sports Arena.
Kenzlee Terry led the Lady Marshals’ offensive attack with a game-high 21 points, while Rylan Darnall added 13 points in the dominant victory. Addi Wall and Jessica Reed each contributed 9 points to the winning effort.
Lauren Noles and Rylee Teague chipped in 3 points apiece, with Maeci Moryl and Kaomi Lunsford rounding out the scoring with 2 points each.
Busy Weekend Ahead
The Lady Marshals face a challenging schedule in the coming days, beginning with a doubleheader at the Maroon Classic in Madisonville on Saturday. Marshall County will take on Bourbon County at 12:30 p.m. before facing host Madisonville at 3:00 p.m.
The team will then shift their attention to home court, where the Marshals will compete in a day-night doubleheader at the FNB Bank Marshall County Holiday Classic at Reed Conder Gymnasium. Marshall County is set to face New Faith Christian Academy (GA) at 11 a.m., followed by an evening matchup against New Destiny (NC) at 6:00 p.m.
WCBL Sports, the Home of the Marshals, will provide comprehensive coverage of the quadruple header. The Hendrickson Wealth and Retirement Coaches Show will begin at 10 a.m., with pregame coverage starting at 10:25 a.m. for the first of four games, with continuous coverage throughout the day.
