
(LYON COUNTY, Ky.) — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office has announced several arrests and law enforcement actions taken over the past week, including charges related to drug trafficking, trespassing, and warrant executions.
Trespassing Investigation Leads to Charges
Sheriff Brent White received a trespassing complaint on Sunday, December 7, from a property owner located off US 62 West in Kuttawa. Following an investigation, Deputy Bobby Beeler charged Brian T. Boone, 22, of Marion, with Criminal Trespassing in the third degree on Monday evening around 9:40 p.m. Boone was cited to appear in Lyon District Court.
Multi-Agency Warrant Operation Nets Five Arrests
On Tuesday, December 9, members of the Sheriff’s Office executed a coordinated warrant operation beginning at 8 a.m., led by Chief Deputy Sam Adams. The operation resulted in five arrests:
- David Peek, 48, of Eddyville, was arrested on a Lyon Circuit Court indictment warrant for procuring or promoting the use of a minor by electronic means. He is being held at the Crittenden County Detention Center.
- Daniel Kelley, 47, of Richmond, faces a Madison Circuit Court indictment warrant for first-degree trafficking in controlled substances involving carfentanil or fentanyl derivatives. He is awaiting extradition to Madison County.
- Andrea M. Breedlove, 37, of Eddyville, was charged with a Lyon Circuit Court indictment warrant for second-degree burglary, violation of a Kentucky emergency protective order/domestic violence order, and third-degree criminal trespassing. She is lodged at the Crittenden County Detention Center.
- Richard King, 52, of Bardwell, was arrested on a Ballard District Court bench warrant for non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, and awaits extradition to Ballard County.
- Benita A. Festervan, 40, of Bardstown, faces a Marion Circuit Court bench warrant for failure to appear and is awaiting extradition to Marion County.
Drug Trafficking Investigation Culminates in Arrest
Sheriff White arrested Michael S. Conger, 53, of Eddyville, on Tuesday afternoon following a months-long investigation into alleged illegal drug trafficking in Eddyville. Conger was served with a Lyon Circuit Court indictment warrant charging him with first-degree trafficking in controlled substances (more than 2 grams of methamphetamine), second-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and persistent felony offender in the first degree. He is being held at the Crittenden County Detention Center.
Additional Arrests
Chief Deputy Adams arrested Steve E. Asher, 56, of Salem, on Tuesday at approximately 3:37 p.m., serving him with a Livingston District Court complaint warrant. Asher faces six counts of distributing sexually explicit images without consent as a first offense. The case was investigated by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, and Asher is lodged at the Crittenden County Detention Center.
On Wednesday, December 10, around 12:30 p.m., deputies served Carl Donley, 42, whose address is unknown, with two Carroll District Court arrest warrants for failure to appear in court. Donley is awaiting extradition to Carroll County.
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
