(WEST PADUCAH/MURRAY Ky.) – Both Marshall County basketball teams picked up impressive victories Saturday in holiday classic action.
Lady Marshals Cruise Past Hopkins Central
The Lady Marshals traveled to Strawberry Hills Arena and cruised to a 49-33 victory over Hopkins County Central in the 2025 Holiday Hoopla Classic.
Senior Kenzlee Terry paced Marshall County with a game-high 21 points, while Addi Wall added 12 points in the winning effort. Rylan Darnall and Jessica Reed each chipped in 5 points, with Lauren Noles and Rylee Teague contributing 2 points apiece.
The victory improved the Lady Marshals to 4-0 on the season.
Marshals Erase 14-Point Deficit to Down Clarksville Northwest
At Jeffrey Gymnasium in the Ken-Tenn Classic, the Marshals overcame a 14-point deficit to defeat the Clarksville (Tenn.) Northwest Vikings 74-56.
Matthew Langhi exploded for 31 points to lead the comeback, while Neyland Jezik added 21 points. Braxton Burham contributed 14 points, Carson Lovett scored 6, and Maddox Konrad finished with 2 in the impressive 18-point victory.
The win pushed the Marshals’ record to 4-1.
