Marshals Roll Past Carlisle County 81-54, Remain Undefeated

(DRAFFENVILLE, Ky.) — The Marshall County Marshals showcased their early-season dominance Tuesday night, cruising to an 81-54 victory over the visiting Carlisle County Comets to improve to 3-0 on the season.  Marshall County shot an impressive 54.7% from the field, including 45.5% from three-point range, connecting on 10 of 22 attempts from beyond the arc.

Senior Ryan Stokes led the Marshals with 18 points on an efficient 6-for-6 shooting performance, adding seven rebounds. Junior Matthew Langhi contributed 23 points despite a difficult night at the free-throw line, where he made just six of seven attempts. Senior Neyland Jezik added 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting, including four three-pointers, while also pulling down four rebounds.

The Marshals received contributions throughout their lineup, with junior Carson Lovett scoring four points on perfect 2-for-2 shooting, and freshman Braxton Burnham adding five points. Sophomore Maddox Konrad chipped in six points, while junior Lawson Arnold hit a three-pointer and finished with three points.

Carlisle County fell to 2-2 on the season with the loss.

Marshall County will look to extend its winning streak Thursday night when they host McCracken County in a doubleheader at home.
