(WINGO, Ky.) – A 32-year-old Murray man was hospitalized Sunday afternoon following a single-vehicle rollover crash in Graves County.
Colby Hinson was driving a 2007 Acura sedan eastbound on KY 339 West near the intersection with Chandler Lane around 3:00 p.m. on December 8 when he failed to negotiate a curve, according to authorities.
Deputies say Hinson lost control while attempting to stay in his lane, causing the vehicle to veer off the right side of the roadway. The sedan struck a mailbox and a culvert before flipping onto its roof and hitting a stop sign.
Hinson was able to exit the vehicle on his own and was transported by Mayfield/Graves County EMS to Jackson Purchase Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Chief Deputy Jeremy Prince investigated the collision with assistance from Sgt. Ben Doran, Detective Jamie Clark, KSP Post 1 Dispatch, Mayfield Fire Department, Mayfield/Graves County EMS, Wingo Fire Department, area residents and the Graves County Road Department.
