(GRAND RIVERS, Ky.) — Four people are facing felony charges after allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of items from a Livingston County hotel, causing extensive damage and financial losses to the business.

Kentucky State Police responded to Lighthouse Landing on Nov. 24 after employees reported a theft from two guest rooms. Investigators say the suspects made off with televisions and other valuables worth more than $3,000, but the total impact on the business was far greater.

Between property damage, deep cleaning costs, and lost revenue from rooms that couldn’t be rented until they were restocked, Lighthouse Landing estimates its losses at approximately $16,000.

Trooper Landon Stewart’s investigation led authorities to a residence in Hopkinsville, where a search warrant was executed. Police recovered much of the stolen property at that location.

Four suspects now face charges in connection with the theft:

Kelly Willis, 36, of Princeton, was charged with theft by unlawful taking ($1,000-$10,000) and second-degree forgery. Devin Puckett, 32, of Cadiz; Kaitlin Atwell, 27, of Hopkinsville; and Kameron Serrano, 20, of Hopkinsville, were each charged with theft by unlawful taking ($1,000-$10,000).

All charges are Class D felonies. According to KSP, all four defendants have prior felony convictions.

The investigation is ongoing.
