Joint Investigation Leads to Arrest of Tennessee Man on Methamphetamine Charges

(BOAZ, Ky.)-The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office and the Graves County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Tennessee man Tuesday evening following a joint drug investigation in the Boaz area of McCracken County.

On December 2, 2025, detectives received information indicating that Steven Britt, 58, of South Fulton, Tennessee, was traveling to McCracken County to deliver a significant quantity of Methamphetamine. Detectives from both agencies coordinated surveillance in the area based on this intelligence.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., detectives observed Britt arrive at a gas station located at 7665 Old U.S. Highway 45. Britt was detained without incident. During the investigation, detectives conducted a search of the truck Britt had been driving and located seven baggies of Methamphetamine with a combined weight of approximately 231 grams.

Britt was arrested at the scene and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
