(BENTON, Ky.) — Due to the possibility of mixed precipitation on December 1st, the Marshall County Town Hall originally scheduled for that evening has been postponed. Marshall County High School’s Advanced Placement United States Government class will now host the Town Hall Forum on December 16th at 6 p.m. at the Marshall County Public Library’s Benton location.
The event will bring together local and state government officials to address community concerns and answer questions from residents.
“Marshall County and Kentucky Government members will be attending and answer questions that are pressing to the community,” said Chris Kerrick, the MCHS teacher organizing the event. “We appreciate each of them for accepting the invitation and are looking forward to the Forum.”
The forum is open to the public, and organizers encourage community members to attend.
