
(CALVERT CITY, Ky) – Police in Calvert City have arrested seven individuals over a two-week span in November, including a Missouri man found with methamphetamine during a traffic stop.
The arrests began on October 31, when officers took Eric J. Humphrey, 47, of 536 East 6th Avenue into custody at his residence on a McCracken County warrant for failure to appear.
The following day, Celinea Gerene Nichoel Skaggs, 31, of 1194 South Main Street, was arrested at her home on a Marshall County warrant for probation violation related to a felony offense.
On November 8, police arrested Ronnie J. Wininger, 47, of 668 Elm Street, at his residence on a Marshall County warrant for probation violation on a misdemeanor offense.
Four days later, Austin Reed Hicks, 32, of 381 East 9th Avenue, contacted police himself to turn himself in. Officers responded to an address on East 10th Avenue and arrested Hicks on a Marshall County failure to appear warrant.
The most significant arrest came on November 15, when an officer conducted a traffic stop on a pilot vehicle equipped with a light bar that was allegedly blinding oncoming traffic. The driver, identified as Ryne Kyle Walker, 38, of Sullivan, Missouri, appeared nervous and voluntarily disclosed he had multiple extraditable warrants from Missouri.
A search led to drug charges, and Walker was arrested for first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also served with four warrants: one from St. Charles County, Missouri, for stealing $750 or more, and three from Franklin County, Missouri, for non-support, stealing, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia related to methamphetamine.
Most recently, on November 16, officers arrested Rickie A. McKinney, 62, of Hopkinsville, at the AmeriVu Inn on a Calloway County warrant. McKinney faces charges of harassing communications, menacing, and third-degree terroristic threatening.
All individuals arrested were taken into custody without incident.
