(MURRAY, Ky.) — Eight fifth-grade students from Benton Elementary School earned the distinction of representing their school at the Kentucky Music Educators Association (KMEA) First District Honor Choir.
The selected students showcased their vocal talents during a concert in Lovett Auditorium on the Murray State University campus.
The KMEA District Honor Choir brings together top young vocalists from elementary schools across the region for an intensive rehearsal and performance experience. Students must audition to earn a spot in the competitive program.
