(MURRAY, Ky.) — The Murray Police Department has announced charges against Gregory Ford, a traveling veterinarian, following an FBI investigation that uncovered allegations of sexual assault involving juveniles in multiple states.
On October 27, 2025, the FBI contacted Murray authorities regarding Ford, who had recently been arrested in Florida for the sexual assault of a juvenile. During the course of their investigation, federal agents identified an additional victim in Murray, Kentucky. The Murray Police Department launched an independent inquiry, concluding that Ford had sexually assaulted a juvenile in the area during 2024.
As a result, an arrest warrant was issued for Ford on charges of Rape in the First Degree and Sodomy in the First Degree. Ford remains in custody in Florida, and the Commonwealth of Kentucky is pursuing his extradition to face charges in state court.
Investigators believe Ford traveled through Murray on multiple occasions in 2024 and warn that there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward.
