McLeod Takes Batting Prowess to Mineral Area College
Senior Macy McLeod will bring her offensive firepower to Mineral Area College in Park Hills, Missouri, where she’ll continue her softball career.
The outfielder compiled impressive statistics over her high school career, appearing in 131 games with 105 starts. McLeod’s bat produced 96 hits, including 67 doubles, 6 triples, and 1 home run, while driving in 54 runs and scoring 82 times. Her speed on the basepaths netted 24 stolen bases, and she maintained a solid .318 batting average.
Beyond the numbers, McLeod’s defensive abilities — highlighted by her speed and strong arm — made her a consistent presence in the outfield. Her combination of athleticism and competitive drive, along with countless hours devoted to improving her game, make her a valuable addition to Mineral Area’s program.

Yates Brings Record-Breaking Distance Running to Lipscomb
Distance specialist Kobey Yates signed to run cross country and track and field at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, capping an eight-year career with Marshall County’s programs.
The five-year varsity athlete currently holds six school records: the 5K run for cross country, indoor 3000 meters, indoor 2-mile, outdoor 3200 meters, freshman 1600 meters, and was part of the record-setting 4×1600 relay at last season’s Twilight Relays.
Yates earned Overall All-Area Team honors multiple times in both sports and was a member of last year’s Regional Championship track team. He was named Area 1 Runner of the Year and made the Area 1 team every year of high school in both sports. Most notably, Yates earned All-State honors in cross country for three consecutive seasons.
His extraordinary work ethic as a student-athlete positions him well for continued success at the collegiate level.
Bagby Takes Pitching Dominance to Western Kentucky
Thomas Bagby will continue his baseball career at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green after three standout seasons with Marshall County.
The exemplary student-athlete has been integral to the Marshals’ pitching staff, compiling a 9-5 record with a career 2.43 ERA. In 119 innings pitched, Bagby has struck out 140 batters — with more opportunities to add to those totals during the upcoming spring season.
Bagby’s proven track record on the mound makes him a valuable addition to the WKU Hilltoppers baseball program.
Beth Takes Historic Golf Career to University of Georgia
Trinity Beth signed to continue her academic and athletic career at the University of Georgia after building one of the most decorated high school golf resumes in Kentucky history.
The five-year letter winner and team leader for the Lady Marshals amassed 28 high school tournament victories, including 3 Region 1 Championships, 3 Sub-State Championships, 3 Kentucky Golf Coaches Association State Championships, and 2 KHSAA State Championships. She helped lead the Lady Marshals to back-to-back Team KHSAA State Championships in 2020 and 2021.
Most remarkably, Beth won the title of Miss Kentucky Golf a record four times — more than any student-athlete in any sport in Kentucky history.
Off the course, Beth maintains a 4.25 GPA while taking dual credit and AP courses and has spent two years as a RISE peer tutor at MCHS, demonstrating that her excellence extends beyond athletics.
Dodd Brings Championship Experience to University of the Cumberlands
Goalkeeper Savannah Dodd signed to continue her soccer career at The University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky, after helping build a championship culture for the Lady Marshals.
The five-year team member was part of two district and two regional championships. Dodd earned All-District honors in 2024 and 2025, All-Region 2nd team recognition in 2024, All-Region 1st team in 2025, and all-state honorable mention in 2025. She made the state tournament team her junior year while helping the Lady Marshals reach the Elite 8.
Between the posts, Dodd recorded 29 career shutouts, tying her for second all-time in program history.
A true student-athlete, Dodd has maintained above a 4.0 grade point average and served as a leader for the Lady Marshals throughout her high school career. She’ll bring that same leadership and academic excellence to the Patriots.
