Incident Overview
According to preliminary findings, the incident began shortly after 8:00 p.m. CST when an off-duty Marshall County Sheriff’s Office deputy observed a vehicle operating recklessly with a flat tire. The deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Hardmoney Road in Paducah. The driver, operating a 1995 Chevrolet pickup truck towing a camper, refused to stop and initiated a pursuit.
