(MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky.) — Sheriff Ryan Norman announced this morning that he has filed to run for reelection as McCracken County Sheriff, seeking to continue the work he began after first being elected in 2022.
Since taking office, Norman said he and his department have focused on improving services for McCracken County residents and visitors through updated equipment, enhanced technology, and improved training programs.
“With the community’s support, we have made great advancements in updated equipment, updated technology, and have improved critical training, all to better serve McCracken County,” Norman said in announcing his reelection bid.
The sheriff emphasized that his entire staff remains committed to serving the community and continuing to improve department services.
Norman said there is still more work to be done to make McCracken County the best place to live, which motivated his decision to seek another term.
“As always, the MCSO appreciates the public’s support in our efforts to keep McCracken County safe,” Norman said.
The election will be held in 2026.
