
(MURRAY, Ky.) — A 19-year-old Murray man faces multiple drug charges following his arrest on Halloween, authorities announced.
Bailey T. Blankenship was taken into custody on October 31, 2025, after narcotics detectives and deputies with the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office made contact with him and discovered he was in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.
The arrest was the culmination of an ongoing investigation that began on October 1, 2025. Authorities said Blankenship was charged with offenses stemming from both the initial investigation and the most recent discovery.
In total, investigators found Blankenship in possession of more than nine grams of cocaine, along with various items of drug paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking operations, the sheriff’s office said.
Blankenship faces charges from the October 1 investigation including possession of a controlled substance in the first degree (cocaine), a Class D felony; possession of marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
From the October 31 arrest, he faces an additional charge of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree (four grams or more of cocaine), a Class C felony, as well as another count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
