
(MURRAY, Ky.) — The Calloway County Lakers closed out their regular season with a 45-40 victory over the Marshall County Marshals Friday night in a high-scoring affair at Jack D. Rose Stadium.
The win capped a successful regular season for the Lakers, who finished 6-4 and had already secured their spot in the postseason. Calloway County will now turn its attention to the Class 4A UK Healthcare Football Playoffs, where they’ll face Elizabethtown in the first round.
For Marshall County, Friday’s loss brought the curtain down on a 3-7 season.
