(MURRAY, Ky.) — The Marshall County Marshals will close out their 2025 football season Friday night with a rivalry showdown against the Calloway County Lakers at Jack D. Rose Stadium.
The Marshals (3-6) will look to play spoiler against the Lakers (5-4), who have already secured a berth in the Class 4A state playoffs. Calloway County is scheduled to face Elizabethtown on the road November 7th in the first round of the postseason.
Head Coach Nick Bloodworth and his squad could benefit if the Lakers are looking ahead to their playoff matchup rather than focusing on their regular-season finale. The rivalry game presents an opportunity for Marshall County to end its season on a high note with an upset victory.
The Hendrickson Wealth and Retirement Pregame Show begins at 5:55 p.m., with kickoff set for 7 p.m. Friday. The game will be broadcast on 99.1 FM WCBL Sports and streamed on marshallcountydaily.com.
