(MURRAY, Ky.) — The KHSAA Region One Girls Volleyball tournament starts next week at Jeffrey Gymnasium at Calloway County High School, and the Marshall County Lady Marshals will open tournament play at 5:30 p.m. Monday against the Ballard Memorial Lady Bombers.
Marshall County enters the regional tournament with a 19-5 record, while Ballard Memorial brings a 24-8 mark into the postseason matchup.
The two teams have already met twice during the regular season, with the Lady Marshals claiming victory in both contests. Marshall County edged Ballard Memorial 3-2 in a five-set thriller at home before sweeping the Lady Bombers 3-0 at the Green Palace in LaCenter.
The winner of Monday’s match will advance to the Regional Semi-Finals and will face the winner of McCracken County/Carlisle County Tuesday at 7:20 PM.
