
(DRAFFENVILLE, Ky.) – The Marshall County Lady Marshals volleyball team dominated from start to finish Thursday night, defeating Community Christian Academy of Paducah in straight sets, 3-0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-17).
The Lady Marshals, on Senior Night, controlled the tempo throughout the match, never allowing the Warriors to gain momentum. Marshall County opened strong with a commanding 25-12 victory in the first set, showcasing their offensive firepower and defensive prowess.
Community Christian showed more resilience in the second and third sets, but the Lady Marshals maintained their composure and continued their winning ways. Marshall County claimed the second set 25-16 before closing out the match with a 25-17 victory in the third.
The Lady Marshals (17-5)head into postseason play on Monday at Murray High as they will face Christian Fellowship (9-17) in the 4th District Tournament at 5:30.
