(BENTON, Ky.) – The Marshall County Fiscal Court will convene for its regular meeting on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the Marshall County Courthouse.

Two guest speakers are scheduled to address the court during the morning session. Emergency Management Director Curt Curtner will provide an update on the county’s rescue squad operations. Dr. Uppinder Mehan, Chief Executive Officer of West Kentucky Allied Services, will also present to the magistrates.
Agenda Items
The fiscal court will consider approval of minutes from their October 7th meeting before moving to new business items.
Monday’s agenda includes several routine matters, including a proclamation recognizing First Responders Day. Magistrates will also review board appointments, the treasurer’s report, budget transfers, and authorize payment of bills.
The court is expected to enter executive session to discuss litigation and personnel matters, which are closed to the public under Kentucky’s Open Meetings Act.

Marshall County Fiscal Court meetings are open to the public. The meeting will take place at the Marshall County Courthouse in Benton.
