(CADIZ, Ky.) — The Woodlands Nature Station will transform into a realm of literary magic on October 25 when it hosts “Howl-o-ween: Storybook Magic,” a family-friendly Halloween celebration running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event invites visitors to step into their favorite fictional universes through animal programs, crafts, and games inspired by popular book series including Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, How to Train Your Dragon, and The Hobbit.
Guests are encouraged to dress as their favorite book characters for the occasion. The festival will feature multiple wildlife programs where attendees can meet live animals and discover connections to their magical counterparts from beloved stories.
“Visitors should expect to meet and learn about live animals as well as their magical counterparts,” organizers from Friends of Land Between the Lakes announced Tuesday.
The nature station, located at 3146 Silver Trail Road in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, has set special event admission prices at $9 for ages 16 and older, $7 for ages 5-15, and free for children 4 and under. Pets will not be permitted at the event.
A full festival schedule is available online. For additional information, contact the Woodlands Nature Station at 270-924-2299 or visit www.landbetweenthelakes.us.
