(MORGANFIELD, Ky.) — The Marshals and Lady Marshals cross country teams traveled to Union County Middle School over the weekend to compete in the Arrowhead Invitational.
On the girls’ side, Lauren Noles led the Lady Marshals with a third-place finish in the varsity 5000-meter run. Ava Sutherland placed 12th in the same race, while Avery Lyles finished 21st.
In the middle school girls’ 3000-meter race, Millie Lampert took 10th place, followed by Emilee Kerrick in 12th and Josie Massey in 34th.
The Marshals boys’ varsity squad was paced by Jared Gaudy, who finished 17th in the 5000-meter run. Jake Fennel placed 26th, Madden Lovett 31st, Jordan McGuire 64th, Hubert Mclean 81st, and Keagin Owens 82nd.
In the middle school boys’ 3000-meter race, Finn Owens led the way with an eighth-place finish. Brady Miller placed 17th, Eddy Davis 18th, Jordan Offenback 19th, and Jaxon Gaudy rounded out the scoring in 21st place.
