Three Arrested After Traffic Stop Uncovers Pound of Methamphetamine in Murray

(MURRAY, Ky.) — Three people are facing felony drug trafficking charges after deputies discovered approximately one pound of methamphetamine during a traffic stop in Murray earlier this month.

According to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office, deputies initiated the traffic stop on South L.P. Miller Street at approximately 1:30 p.m. on October 2, 2025. During the stop, authorities determined that one of the passengers had active arrest warrants.

A subsequent investigation led to the discovery of roughly one pound of methamphetamine inside the vehicle. All three occupants were arrested and transported to the Calloway County Detention Facility.

Those arrested include:

Tracy L. Pritchett, 49, of Kirksey, charged with trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree, second or greater offense, two grams or more of methamphetamine (Class B felony), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deborah E. Coday, 44, of Murray, charged with trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree, second or greater offense, two grams or more of methamphetamine (Class B felony), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Patricia G. Nelson, 45, of Benton, charged with trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree, second or greater offense, two grams or more of methamphetamine (Class B felony), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
