(WEST PADUCAH, Ky.) — The Marshall County Marshals saw their season continue despite a shutout loss to McCracken County in the 1st District Championship on Wednesday night, falling 3-0.
Junior goalkeeper Carson Lovett recorded two saves in the loss as the Marshals were unable to find the back of the net against the district champions.
Despite the defeat, Marshall County advances to the First Region Tournament, where they will face District 2 Champion Murray High on Tuesday. The regional matchup will take place at the Colburn Soccer Complex.
