
(OWENSBORO, Ky.)— The Marshall County Marshals faced an Owensboro Red Devils team on Friday night at historic Rasche Stadium that had momentum in their favor after winning four in a row. The Marshals fell 62-7 in the district matchup.
Owensboro set the tone early and controlled both sides of the ball, building an insurmountable lead while the Marshals struggled to find answers on the road. The loss drops Marshall County to 3-4 overall and 1-2 in district play. Owensboro is now 5-2 and 3-0 in the district.
The Marshals will have a bye week to regroup, heal, and refocus before returning home to Carroll Traylor Stadium/Jim Shelton Field on October 17th to face the Graves County Eagles, 1-6 overall and 0-3 district mark.
