
(DRAFFENVILLE, Ky.) – The Marshall County High School cross country teams delivered impressive performances at the Mad Marshall Dash on Thursday evening at Carroll Traylor Stadium/Jim Shelton Field, with both squads earning top finishes on their home course.
The Lady Marshals secured a second-place team finish, led by freshman standout Lauren Noles, who claimed the individual championship. Senior Ava Sutherland also contributed to the team’s success with a sixth-place finish.
The boys’ team dominated the competition, capturing first place overall in the team standings. The Marshals were paced by strong performances from Daniel Walker, who finished second individually, and Kobey Yates, who took third place.
The team will run at the Swag’s Louisville XC Classic, hosted by Eastern High School on Saturday at Tom Sawyer Park.
