
(PADUCAH, Ky.) – The Paducah Junior College Foundation will host a special luncheon on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, to commemorate National Financial Planning Day and recognize the vital role financial professionals play in supporting educational opportunities throughout the region.
The event, scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. CDT at the Country Club of Paducah, will bring together certified public accountants, attorneys, and financial planners from across the area to celebrate the intersection of sound financial planning and educational investment.
“Financial planning creates lasting legacies for our students and strengthens our entire region through strategic investment in education,” said Andy Wilson, Executive Director of the PJC Foundation. “This luncheon allows us to honor the professionals who contribute to educational access and opportunity through their expertise in planned giving and financial stewardship.”
The program will feature remarks from several key speakers, including Dr. Anton Reece, President of West Kentucky Community and Technical College; Anne Gwinn, Board Chair of the PJC Foundation; Wilson; and Susan Ybarzabal, who serves as both a Board Member and Finance Committee Chair for the PJC Foundation.
The PJC Foundation’s recognition of National Financial Planning Day underscores the organization’s commitment to building sustainable support for student success. Through partnerships with financial professionals, the Foundation works to expand access to higher education and create opportunities for community growth.
