(CADIZ, Ky.) — The Woodlands Nature Station will host Wolf Week from October 4-12, 2025, offering families an immersive experience exploring the fascinating world of wolves and their conservation.

The weeklong celebration will feature daily encounters with the nature station’s resident endangered Red Wolves during the popular “Red Wolf Treat Time” program, held each day at 1:30 p.m. The program provides visitors an opportunity to observe these rare canines while learning about ongoing conservation efforts to protect the species.

Beyond the daily wolf encounters, Wolf Week will include a variety of special programs and activities designed to celebrate wolves and examine canine species from around the globe. The event aims to help visitors understand why these intelligent predators have captivated human imagination for centuries.

“Wolf Week is a great opportunity for visitors to discover why these cunning canines have inspired awe in people for generations,” said Friends of Land Between the Lakes in announcing the event.
