(MURRAY, Ky.) — Murray State University continues its impressive streak of national recognition, earning top rankings from U.S. News & World Report for the 35th consecutive year across multiple categories.
The institution demonstrated strong performance in regional rankings, securing notable positions including 6th place among Top Public Schools and 19th for Best Value Schools in the South. Murray State also claimed 14th place in the Regional Universities category and 6th among Best Colleges for Veterans in the regional university classification.
The university showed upward momentum in several key areas, with improved rankings in Top Public Schools, Top Regional Universities, and Best Regional Universities for Veterans compared to previous years.
Beyond the general university rankings, Murray State received recognition for excellence in specific academic disciplines. The university’s undergraduate programs in engineering, nursing, and psychology earned top-tier status, while its Doctor of Nursing Practice program also received national acknowledgment.
