(REIDLAND, Ky.)-A 30-year-old school employee was taken into custody Wednesday on multiple felony charges following allegations of sexual contact with a minor student.
Julio Estrada was arrested at his Reidland residence around 4:00 PM on September 18, 2025, by McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies. The arrest followed an investigation that began when a female juvenile reported that Estrada had engaged in illegal sexual contact with her approximately one year prior.
Sheriff’s detectives worked alongside the McCracken County Schools Police Department throughout the investigation. According to authorities, evidence was discovered that supported the victim’s allegations. After consulting with the McCracken County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office regarding appropriate charges, detectives obtained an arrest warrant.
Following Estrada’s arrest, investigators executed a search warrant at his residence to gather additional evidence. He has been charged with four counts of third-degree rape and one count of first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office received assistance from McCracken County Public Schools and the Paducah Police Department during the investigation.
