
(PRINCETON, Ky.)-The Marshall County Marshals soccer team delivered a commanding performance Thursday night, defeating the Caldwell County Tigers 9-1 in an away match that showcased the team’s offensive firepower and balanced scoring attack.
Offensive Explosion Led by Multiple Contributors
The Marshals’ nine-goal outburst came from six different players, demonstrating the team’s depth and versatility. Leading the charge was sophomore Maddox Konrad, who found the back of the net twice while adding an assist for a three-point performance.
Junior Maddox Schroader also contributed two goals to the victory, while junior Davis Hunt matched that output with two goals of his own. Senior Colton Snyder added a goal and an assist, and junior John Shadowen chipped in with a goal and an assist as well.
Freshman Levi Hayes scored his first goal of the season, while senior Houston Johnson contributed two assists to help set up his teammates. Sophomore AJ Hale rounded out the scoring with one goal.
Solid Defensive Performance
The Marshals’ defense, anchored by goalkeeper Carson Lovett, held the Tigers to just one goal. The junior keeper made one save in net while allowing the single score. Freshman Nick Clapp also saw action in goal during the match.
The Marshals will play Saturday in Evansville against both Evansville Christian and Evansville Harrison.
