
(DRAFFENVILLE, Ky.) — The Marshall County Lady Marshals dominated at home Thursday night, defeating the visiting Calloway County Lakers in straight sets at Draffenville High School.
The Lady Marshals controlled the match from start to finish, winning 25-18, 26-24, and 25-12 to claim a decisive 3-0 victory. The second set proved to be the most competitive of the evening, with Marshall County edging out a close 26-24 win before pulling away decisively in the third set.
The sweep improves Marshall County’s season record and continues their strong home court performance this season.
Marshall County will be back in action Friday night with a road trip to Paducah, where they face a doubleheader against University Heights Academy and Warren East High School. The busy stretch will test the Lady Marshals’ depth as they continue their push through the regular season schedule.
