(PADUCAH, Ky.)-The Marshall County Lady Marshals volleyball team delivered a commanding performance Tuesday night, sweeping Community Christian Academy 3-0 on the road with set scores of 25-10, 25-14, and 25-14.

The Lady Marshals controlled the match from the opening serve, never allowing the Lady Warriors to gain momentum in any of the three sets. Marshall County’s balanced attack and strong defensive play proved too much for the home team to handle.

Senior Hadley Barrett led the offensive charge with 8 kills, while junior Emma Reynolds contributed 22 assists to orchestrate the Lady Marshals’ attack. The team’s defensive effort was anchored by senior Olivia Hawkins, who recorded 30 digs to keep rallies alive.

Senior Catherine Shelton provided additional offensive firepower with 5 kills, and sophomore Laney Yates chipped in with 10 digs from the back row. The Lady Marshals’ serving game was effective throughout, with the team collecting 6 service aces as a unit.

Marshall County’s depth was on full display, with contributions coming from across the roster. Senior Maleah Terry added 18 digs, while sophomore Brooke Van Bokel contributed 3 kills and 2 assists. The balanced scoring attack and solid defensive foundation allowed the Lady Marshals to maintain control throughout all three sets.

Marshall County will return to action Thursday night when they host Calloway County at 6:30 p.m. in the Auxiliary Gym.
